I have had the privilege of teaching and coaching here at Stanfield Elementary School since 2006. I grew up in a small town in New Mexico and was very active in sports and band 6th-12th grade. In 1998, I graduated from New Mexico State University (NMSU) with a Bachelors of Science in Education (Secondary Education) with an emphasis in Physical Education. I am a member of Arizona Health and Physical Education. For 19 years I have been teaching PE and have loved every minute of it. When I'm not teaching I enjoy spending time with my dog, family and friends, working on DIY projects and in my yard, watching sports, documentaries and movies, jogging/cycling and lifting weights and reading. I look forward to another great year with the awesome students and families at Stanfield Elementary School.
